Seamen’s Society for Children and Families a provider of social services in Staten Island/Brooklyn is recruiting for the following positions:
LMSW or LCSW Supervisors and CASE WORKER
LMSW or LCSW Supervisors – Foster Care & Preventive Departments
• The Supervisor will provide direct supervision to staff ensuring the program meets all mandates.
• Facilitate and document Family Team Conferences within ACS guidelines that result in a service plan for the family
• Ensure that all reporting requirements with Connections and PROMIS are completed and all ACS requirements for the program are met
LMSW or LCSW, supervisory experience and three years experience working with families in crisis required.

CASE WORKER – Family Day Care - To help meet the objectives of the FDC program and provide its clients with the services they require.
• Conduct home studies and training in Staten Island, and Brooklyn
• Provide recertification, monitoring and compliance with ACS, CACFP, DOH and the Agency for Day Care Providers
• Documentation: ACS/CACFP/Agency; family and provider; monitor parent fees.
• Miscellaneous: recreational activities planning, children’s attendance, equipment assessment, fundraising
Bachelor’s degree and experience in child welfare required. Current valid driver’s license and own car required.
