Hello U-Hallers. I am offering you all an incredible opportunity to tackle one of the biggest drug issues of our time!!!
Besides weed (which is long running with no end in sight), Salvia is the biggest legalization issue in America. Salvia is a psychoactive herb drug that causes hallucinogenic reactions. Similar to marijuana it can be smoked, or chewed and then ingested.
Used for ages in religious practices Salvia produces an intense distortion of reality similar to drugs like LSD or Magic Mushrooms. Unlike those other substances, Salvia’s effect only lasts for around five minutes. The after effects of Salvia have been known to cause increased confidence, clarity of mind, and other positive attributes, but it has also been known to cause the opposite reactions.
There are those who believe that Salvia could be used to treat or maybe even find a cure for many illnesses, but due to recent uprise from concerned parents concerning Salvia videos on YouTube and Salvias supposed link to several teen suicides, Salvia is quickly becoming illegal in many states.

On April 26th, in the C-Lounge myself and some fellow PEPS (Peers Educating Peers about Substances) are hosting a building wide debate over the legalization of Salvia. Residents, RA’s, PEIRS, and FFIR are welcome to participate.
