Nate Silver, the polling guru, has written a piece for newsweek.com that tells you what to look for as the election results come tonight tonight, starting at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Silver is a statistician known first for creating the PECOTA system for predicting (with amazing accuracy) performance results in baseball. He came to national notice this spring, when he predicted the results of the Democratic primary in North Carolina with greater accuracy than any of the professional pollsters.
