Fun Facts 'Quiz #11

Today’s New York Marathon featured a course that started in Staten Island and continued through all five boroughs before ending up near Tavern-on-the-Green in Central Park. Over 39,000 runners participated, a far cry from the 127 runners who entered the first New York marathon in 1970. The course that year consisted of several laps around Central Park.

So here’s the question: Where was the highest hill on this year’s New York Marathon course?

To enter the contest, send an e-mail to uhallfunfacts@gmail.com before 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5. Include the words “Fun Facts Contest 11” in your subject line. In addition to your answer, your message should include your first and last name and your U-Hall room number.

This week’s prize is a $25 gift card from Virgin Megastore.
