Today’s New York Marathon featured a course that started in Staten Island and continued through all five boroughs before ending up near Tavern-on-the-Green in Central Park. Over 39,000 runners participated, a far cry from the 127 runners who entered the first New York marathon in 1970. The course that year consisted of several laps around Central Park.
So here’s the question: Where was the highest hill on this year’s New York Marathon course?
