It’s no secret. Hockey is freaking awesome. To celebrate the awesomeness of Hockey, I’m going to the Rangers game! This really doesn’t immediately help you any, but I’m going to talk about it anyway.

Hockey is a very good form of physical activity. Granted, it’s not one you can just jump into. But! You can go watch it, and that’s pretty cool too. Especially if a fight breaks out. I mean, WHEN a fight breaks out. Not that we condone violence here in UHall, but those guys have pads and helmets. So it’s really more like boxing on ice. Talk about stress relief. I’m trying really hard to make this semi-peer-educational.

NYU has a hockey team, and that’s pretty cool too. You can find them at http://www.nyu.edu/teams/icehockey/. Our next home game is against Sienna College at Chelsea Peers. If anyone’s interested, maybe we can get a group together to go to a game sometime? Also, I really, really REALLY want to get tickets to go see the Rangers play the Penguins. So anyone interested in that, let me know. Maybe Hall Council would like to foot the bill? Eh? Eh?!

Finally, the picture I’ve posted. Hockey is awesome. Polar bears are awesome. Hockey + Polar Bears = Uber Awesome. I hope that this made you feel happy in some way shape or form, whether it was the hockey, the boxing on ice, the polar bears, or my complete inability to make any of this logically apply to peer education. Hey, I tried.
