Blackboard Liaison Program
ITS has started a program to help schools and departments with their Blackboard experience, it's called the Blackboard Liaison Program. This program was established during the upgrade process, and empowers participants with additional training and specialized support tools. This program is specifically designed for staff currently supporting NYU Blackboard at the school or department level.
Blackboard Liaison is a special user type in Blackboard. It provides you with the ability to help faculty and students with greater ease and functionality than you can currently with generic permissions.
Members of the Blackboard Liaison Program participate in specialized, small-group training and receive access to specialized training materials and videos. Specific benefits to program participants include direct access to subject matter (i.e.: Blackboard) experts.
Deans and CIOs receive a list each semester of those in their departments or schools who are designated Blackboard Liaisons.
