The NYU Syntax Brown Bag is a series of informal talks on syntax and its interfaces. It is given by students, faculty, and visiting scholars from the Tri-State Area who come to NYC and share their on-going research with our department.
Syntax Brown Bags are usually held in the NYU Linguistics department on Fridays, from 1:30 to roughly 3:00 p.m. (check the schedule for any changes). These Brown Bags are a good opportunity for speakers to discuss their research in a relaxed and informal setting with their interdepartmental colleagues and enjoy some light snacks.
Speaking at a Syntax Brown Bag is of course open to students and faculty of the NYU Linguistics Department (in this case, the talk would be co-chaired by LANYU).
Please contact Jim Wood (jim.wood@nyu.edu) for any questions, comments, or suggestions for outside speakers.
This series of talks is held at the NYU Linguistics Department at 10 Washington Place, room 103.
