Here is the style frame for my paper circus project. In this style frame you can see an example of the multiplane effect I am using.
Each piece is on its own layer with a drop shadow behind it, this creates the illusion of depth. They all have a paper like texture to create the idea of paper cut-outs. The background is the edge of the poster. This helps create the idea that the images are popping out from the poster.
Here is the first draft of the animatic for Paper Circus.
The Visual Effects of multiplanes and basic plane movement will be shown in each shot.
