DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Program Director in management of day-to-day operation of the facility and in development and implementation of program design, goals and services. Supervision of clinical staff, auditing of clinical charts, training of staff in clinical interventions and techniques. Supervision of operational staff, training and support as needed. Ensure compliance with DHS OTDA mandates. Related duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
BRC maintains a variety of transitional residences that offer homeless men and women not challenged by mental illness the opportunity to set and attain goals in housing and employment, while also addressing other needs, such as: surviving domestic violence, managing healthcare needs, furthering their education, living sober, and reuniting with children and other family members. Lexington Avenue Women’s Residence (in Brooklyn) is a 101-bed facility for women only.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct clinical supervision to Case Manager. Responsible for design and supervision of group counseling program. Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly DHS statistics are compiled and submitted for review. Responsible for supervision of scheduling and case-management staff. Responsible for conducting case conferences, treatment plan reviews, and maintenance of established QA procedures. Related duties as assigned.

Job Description: Full-time Case Manager provides direct services to mostly immigrant (Latina and Chinese) families who suffer from domestic and / or family violence (either physical, emotional, and/or financial) and other life crises, and works to enhance housing, family, and economic stability to prepare survivors to make plans to ensure their and/or their family’s safety. The program’s direct services include supportive counseling, advocacy, assistance with concrete needs, long-term planning, crisis intervention, and planning and leading groups. Planning, program development, and community outreach are a large part of the work that the Case Manager assists with.
Program Description: Project Home is a blended program that combines the following services: homelessness prevention for families and individuals at-risk of eviction; general short-term social services; leadership development and advocacy groups; and services to address senior isolation and mental health needs. We are part of University Settlement, a community-based, multi-service agency that has served the Lower East Side community since 1886.

Founded in 1982, the New York Asian Women’s Center is the first organization on the East Coast to address the issues of domestic violence in Asian communities. With the only 24-hour multi-lingual hotline and shelter program for battered Asian women on the East Coast, the Center provides counseling and advocacy to Asian battered women and children who have witnessed domestic violence.
Reports to: Executive Director
Primary Function of Position:
I. Responsible for management of shelter operations: Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the program's and facilities' compliance with applicable governmental regulations, internal policies and procedures. Oversee all facets, phases and components of the Residential Domestic Violence Program. Plan, organize and evaluate residential services while supervising personnel in day-to-day activities.
II. Budget, Regulatory and Funder Relationship: Ensure compliance of services with applicable regulations and licensure standards. Liaison with the residential coalition/ committee, HRA, OCFS as well as community organizations. Handle additional activities including; prepare program reports and billings.
III. Strategic Planning: Conduct policy development, long range planning effects staffing, workload, processes and organizational structure.
IV. Other projects and duties as assigned by Executive Director.

The Family Peace Program of New York Presbyterian Hospital is looking for a social worker for this federally funded program that provides services for children exposed to domestic violence and their caretakers.
This person would be responsible for:
• Receiving and responding to all intake calls from both families and referring agencies.
• Administering and completing intake and assessment interviews.
• Case management and advocacy responsibilities.
• Lead support-group activities for parents and their children.
• Participate in case conferences and training.
This position provides an opportunity to learn and expand knowledge in cutting-edge treatment for parents and children who have been exposed to trauma: specifically, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). The position requires the ability to work as part of a team.
