Dr. Gary Holden here at the SSSW is looking for a student to assist with the maintenance and development of the Information for Practice blog (www.nyu.edu/socialwork/ip/). The primary projects will include redesigning the blog's look and feel, and integrating external content feeds into the site--with a mechanism for the professor to add additional items and modify, approve, or delete items from the feeds prior to publication. Additional work may be available after the completion of these projects.

We currently have an outstanding opportunity to co-direct CHArm Center research. You will prepare research study data for presentations, write and edit articles and manuscripts, submit research documents to our Internal Review Board and work on clinical research studies.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience, along with experience in research writing. Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative methods is essential. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and meet strict deadlines is essential. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are expected.

INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT to assist the Administration for Children’s Services in conducting research into practices of policies and procedures and to write and update documents based on any changes in practices. The selected consultant will work closely with other divisions’ staff to gather pertinent information and will work independently to update the changes in procedural documents. The updated documents will be used by Children’s Services staff as well as the staff of the provider agencies.

For this assignment, the Division of Policy and Planning is requesting one experienced consultant with knowledge of Child Welfare systems and who has excellent research and writing skills.
