Healthy Connections, a mental health program serving children and families in trauma, is seeking bilingual creative and community-oriented clinicians to provide therapy to children, adults, and families. Therapists use an array of clinical modalities to assess and treat children, adults and families through individual and group interventions. The position is based at Lutheran Family Health Centers’ Family Support Center, which serves southwest Brooklyn’s low-income, immigrant community. The clinician will also have the opportunity to provide preventive services through community initiatives.
To qualify, you must be an LMSW/LCSW or NYS licensed Psychologist with 3 + years clinical experience in a community mental health setting. Experience working with children and families, excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills are essential. Training in Trauma Focused CBT, Complex Trauma, Play & Creative Arts Therapy is preferred. Must be bilingual Spanish, Chinese, and English.
