Finally! It's fall in New York!
Well, OK, it's been fall in New York for a while now. Can you believe how chilly it got so often? For all of you loyal West Coast readers, it's basically Christmas weather. We've had weather in the 50s and 40s -- and my mother had to ship me my winter gear early.

I'm so sorry (again) that I've been so bad with my correspondences with you, my faithful readers, my audience, my friends. Things have been really busy with juggling work, classes, projects...
Like I said before, classes are more than interesting this year. In my Producing class, I've had to come up with a fabulous pitch for a TV Show (that I'm keeping under wraps in this blog).
I've been uncovering the inner bittersweet depths of the Disney corporation and Simulated Internet worlds while trying to write papers about gay and lesbian censorship.
Ooh woe is me, woe is me.
But I'm not one to complain: it's fall, in New York! Who wouldn't be happy? It always reminds of "You've Got Mail" when Joe Fox says to Kathleen Kelly, "if I could, I'd send you a bouquet of sharpened pencils." Oh how she swoons over that scotch tape. It always sends thrills through my body and warms my heart --- Oh!---how warm.
There are some things I've learned this year, though. Things that you can't learn in your classes. (After all, this is NYU -- who needs classes? We have the city at our finger tips.) When you get stuck in an 8-person suite (like me) there is one thing I ask of you (dearly):
Don't bring your boyfriend over and engage in loud activity with him while you know your other roommates are in the living room.
The walls of NYU dorms are cheap and made of paper...
...and we know what you're up to. I see what you're up to when you're wearing that nightie, running around while your boyfriend comes over for the 10239th time.
Except we've never really heard you guys until now. Thanks for that. It was awkward.
In any case, we forsee a really bitter winter approaching. My friends, this will be the true test of the Southern Californian spirit: will I survive? Jesus, I hope so.
Meanwhile, I know this is really late, but I've made a video for Steinhardt about the first two weeks of school:

Enjoy! I know it's long, so you don't have to watch...but, if you do have time, do watch! :)
<3 Will be back with more later!
