East Coast Ramblings of a West Coast Girl

Yo Guys!

Last night it snowed, and the rooftops were covered with this lovely coating of white. It's all quite beautiful and makes you feel like a part of the East Coast family. Right now, in fact, Sunday morning, snow is falling as I type this message to you all. My roommate broke out (sort of) into song ("Let it Snow") but she didn't really know the lyrics.

Luckily, my father forced himself to memorize the lyrics a few years back while I played on the piano. And because of the repetition, it was I who ended up memorizing the bulk of the song (Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go...).

Right now it's the Christmas season again. A friend of mine was here just yesterday (from CA!) and we were checking out all of the touristy areas (v. crowded, mind you). But it put me in a much better mood, to say the least. Well, going to Century 21 was my least favorite destination, but then looking at the Christmas lights on 5th Ave was brilliant. Last year, another friend and I (late at night) walked up to check out all of the pretty window displays, sans crowds! It was lovely.

Saks has a GREAT DISPLAY AT NIGHT!! Ok? Ok! I wish I could upload more pictures for you all right now, but, sadly, I cannot. Una Momento!

Anyway, with this new snow comes just worse weather, and we all only like the snow when we don't have to deal with it. But of course, last year going to Central Park and making a snow angel was quite a delight....but, I digress.
