Insert Whistling Here

Hello all my readers out there in reader land.

I know you're all graciously awaiting me to throw out an assortment of colored gumdrop and goodies so that you guys can all open your mouths and catch them like little lemon drops dripping from the sky.

It's the week after Thanksgiving. You know what that means, don't you?

YES.

It's officially the time of the year to start cranking out those Christmas tunes. 'Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la...sing with me! Ok, come on. It's the only time to really get really sick and tired of Christmas songs, then you won't be sad to see them gone. It's a good way to cope with the holiday season.

You know I take the winter season oh-too-seriously. I've been waiting for this since...since...October? That seems like ages ago, actually.

There's some good news! Our blogs have gotten some publicity! In the new issue of NYU Today, another publication at our school, there's an article about us! Go check one out! And, what's this? A quote from yours truly. How inspiring. For the sake of not tooting my own horn, I'm going to skip over trying to quote myself in a newspaper. Once they get the issue/article online, though, I'll be sending you a linkeroo.

I can confidently say that the next three weeks of my life are going to be nothing less than hellish. Full of presentations, and three final papers due on the last day of classes (12 December). Oh, but there's another final paper in my other class that I can work on after the first three are due, luckily for me (insert big smile here).

I've contemplated the many ways that I can get around this. The ways that I can possibly magically conjure up a paper with the flick of a hand (and a wand, of course).

Expidious Paperious.

Yeah, that really doesn't work. Time is running short, and there are only about THREE weeks left in this semester. It really makes you happy, and yet sad that though you are so evidently close to the finish line, you have so many things to accomplish. Ugh.

Like the "hang in there" cat, just hang in there! I keep telling myself: I'm one step closer to the end. One step closer. Ok, breathe in. Deeply.....

No, that's not right. Breathe out.

INHALE...just one more movie to edit...one more line to type...one more step. One step at a time. Right? Right...I need to feel at one with myself...

As Woody would say, "Students achieving Oneness will move on to Twoness."

Touché, my friend.
