Hooray for appropriation. As an offshoot from what Beryl just posted, there was a link to the side about Vanity Fair's new "Hollywood Portfolio."
Quote describing the project:
"Hitchcock Portfolio
Hollywood is an unsettling place these days, with writers dialing āSā for strike and awards shows circling the drain. In the March issue, V.F. captures the suspense in a montage of classic Hitchcock moments"
There's a gallery of modern celebrities recreating stills from classic Hitchcock movies. There's also a video from some of the shoots that I found interesting, shows you how they were created and might inspire some ideas.

Some of you have gotten into cross-processing film, if you want to duplicate the look on digital check this out:

Essentially it's just messing with color balance
Finally...
This is probably most useful for Kyle but incase anyone ever confronts you because you're photographing something and tries to take your camera and/or film you should print this out and have it with you

I got it from the latest Photojojo article (which I presume a lot of you are subscribed to anyway)
