Yay it's monday! and for some reason that means it's time for my blog entry! I'm going to try and split this one up between here and HERE.
Let's get to the point...
We had a really fun day in photo, including Esther and Ryan's blue (green) peanut butter.
and so much chocolate...I mean dirt/poop/paint.
I just had to include it.
I also was really planning on getting a picture of my "waste" from the day, but forgot. But I don't feel bad, because as Mark informed us, he has "a ton" of pictures of his son's colorful waste.
I also got to visit the MoMA, the Guggenheim, and the Museum of Natural History, which were all super fantastic...
I really think that everyone should see the color chart exhibit at MoMA, especially because color is such a big deal in our lives right now and we all just read Chromophobia. There is some super cool stuff and it is amazing to see how well some artists can balance such crazy colors.
I forget to bring my camera to the Guggenheim, but like Sage said before, the Cai Guo Qiang exhibit is totally amazing, and I'd love to talk to anyone about it who is interested. There are live snakes and birds and boats to ride and suspended cars and broken china and gunpowder. Plus none of us have an excuse because we all have AAM cards which let us pass on the ridiculous $15 ticket.
Oh, and of course, LOTS MORE PICS AND FUN FUN STUFF HERE on my museum trips and burgers and art and bears, oh my!
And lastly, I shot a party with the M7 and a flash and it was really confusing. I get my film back tonight and have no idea if anything came out. Thought I would just point that out. Hope everyone is having a good week.
