One last thing

Some of you might have seen this already, but I made a sort of 'review' of my best photographs in 2007. I got the idea from some of the things Fred showed us in CHIPS and this photographer whose work I enjoy George Lange

Here's the link: http://download.yousendit.com/FCAE7A9F7CCFF8C2

It will only be available to download for six more days or something, so get it while you can :P

I've been meaning to reedit it because I did it over winter break in one night. I think the sequencing could be better... some of the digital photos i've reedited... I don't like the "the end" at the end, etc. etc.

But regardless, it gives you an idea of what I'm going for.

I hope to do it every year so that I have some sort of record of how my work is developing.

If I ever redo it i'll post the update.

Let me know what you think...

derek.:

you need to shoot film, asap-sauce!
i kept seeing images i wanted to look at, but they dissapeared as soon as they came on, so i would slow it down a bit. the editing to the strokes was tight, but i just felt it was way to fast, yadadamean? although if it was a quick lil overview of what uve done over the year it worked. i dug it.

Charley:

Sweet vid. I'm super jealous of your work ethic Mike because it really pays off. Off of what Derek said, I think it is a bit fast, but this format of looking at photography sort of calls for it. I also think it mimics the idea of digital photography--easy, quick, abundant. I think if you really settled down to work on film you'd get some amazing stuff that holds up as single frames rather than this abundance of cool work.
Also, that picture of the guy in the suit looking at the statue is still so good.
