I enjoyed Micheal's blog thing on sculpture and was inspired to put a down payment on 120,000 acres in Montana so I can start breeding wind walking sculpture (absolutely loved those). I also just bought my son a couple of gallon of whatever the magnetic fluid is (it's child safe right?) cuz that was way cool as well.
Since I happen to love art and science ( I actually bought the Fibonacci song) I thought I'd share a cool photographer I found a few years ago who illustrates (kinda) scientific principles through constructions that he creates/performs and then photographs. His name is Caleb Charland, he shows at Stonecrop gallery in Maine. If the link doesn't work the you can find him on Google.
