I'm sure some of you have seen An Angel At My Table but I just wanted to recommend it to anybody who hasn't. The film is essentially an autobiography of Janet Frame, a poet and author from New Zealand. She had a really crazy (no pun intended) life and the films pretty long but definitely worth watching for any visual artist. It's been one of my favorites for awhile and after watching it again a few hours ago i had to post it on here.
