If you have cable, the Ovation channel is re-running the amazing BBC series called the "Genius of Photography", along with another series called "Photographers at Work" all day Sunday and Monday. It also repeats every month or so, so you can also keep an eye out for future broadcasts
The Genius of Photography is about 6-7 hour long shows, tracing the history of photography, the effects of the camera on war coverage, it's acceptance as an art form, etc. There's one hour each on Robert Frank and Rodchenko alone.
It's absolutely stupendous, once you start watching you can't stop.
"Photographers at Work" is a series of 4 or 5 1 hour shows that takes you on shoots with Joel Meyerowitz, Greg Crewdson, Duane Michaels, etc.
I'll DVR everything I can and then transfer it to tape so those of you without cable can watch it later

I caught one of them. Who knew that Gregory Crewdson doesn't ever touch the camera (not even a cable release!?) He even has his own DP.
I'd love to see the rest. While the focus on each photographer is short and not all that comprehensive, it is a really interesting look on how unbelievable different these giants of photography work.
