The Faculty Resource Network Student Exchange Program – Spring 2012

The NYU Faculty Resource Network has established a student exchange program for outstanding undergraduates between New York University and three historically black and two Hispanic-serving colleges: Morehouse College, Spelman College, Xavier University of Louisiana, University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, and University of the Sacred
Heart in Puerto Rico.

New York University students who are accepted into the exchange program will spend a semester of full-time study at one of the participating institutions listed above.

The application deadline for Spring 2012 is October 31, 2011. Applicants will receive a decision on or around November 15, 2011.  For more information and application, please visit the Student Exchange Program.

Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award recognizes graduate students who show exemplary promise as future leaders of higher education; who demonstrate a commitment to developing academic and civic responsibility in themselves and others; and whose work reflects a strong emphasis on teaching and learning.

A Call for Graduation Speakers

Steinhardt Class of 2011! NYU Steinhardt will salute its bachelor, master's degree and sixth-year certificate candidates at graduation ceremonies on Tuesday, May 17th at the New Beacon Theater. As part of the program, one graduating senior and one graduating graduate student will be selected to speak on behalf of his/her class. If you would like to be considered for this special honor, please plan to submit the text of a graduation speech no later than Tuesday, February 22nd at 5:00pm. The speech may be serious, humorous, personal or more general, but it may be no more than 3 minutes long.
