Current Student Announcements- updates and deadlines!
Here are some upcoming deadlines just to keep you up to date- you should have received most of this by email, so make sure you check your NYU account regularly.
1. Steinhardt Orientation Leaders- there’s still time to apply!
>The deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 20, 2009. Applications can be picked up in the Office of Student Services, Pless Hall, 2nd floor (82 Washington Square East) or downloaded from our website, http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/orientation/. If you have any questions or cannot attend an information session, do not hesitate to contact Doris Alcivar at 212.998.5065 or via email at da339@nyu.edu. We hope you will consider becoming an Orientation Leader!
2. FAFSA DEADLINE APPROACHING!!!! March 1 is the FAFSA deadline for returning UG students, so make sure you file as soon as possible!
3. Summer Financial Aid- In order to be awarded financial aid for a summer session, you need to complete the 2009-2010 FAFSA, and complete the Summer Loan application, available at www.nyu.edu/financial.aid. If you have any questions regarding aid eligibility, please let me know.
4. Renewing Undergraduate Housing Contracts- now underway!
2009-2010 Undergraduate Housing Re-application: February 11 - February 25, 2009
The 2009-2010 Undergraduate Housing Re-application process, for eligible students (students with a renewable housing status, www.nyu.edu/housing/applications/eligibility) begins, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 and must be completed by 5:00pm (EST), Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Additionally, the $1000 re-application deposit is due by 4:00pm (EST) on Friday, February 27, 2009. Please remember that this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

click the Phase I link on the lottery website: http://www.nyu.edu/lottery. This website will be the primary point for all information and instructions.
You are responsible for the completion of all phases of this process and all communication will be sent to your NYUHome email account.
