Obama y Uribe

December 6, 2010

¿No te dije? ¡¡¡Nadie va a preguntar por los chavistas!!!

Simplicity and the Courage Necessary

August 5, 2010

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be. Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius – and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. Everything should be as simple as it is, but not simpler.

About Gratitude

June 7, 2010

I can finally explain why I prefer “You’re welcome” to “no problem”: when someone thanks you, the polite thing to do is to accept gratitude in a gracious way. “You’re welcome” and “Don’t mention it” accept the gratitude, while “no problem” projects that the gratitude was not accepted because it was not necessary.

Drink Tap

March 31, 2010

Yesterday I saw a TV commercial for American Express’s Take Part campaign, so I visited their web site at http://www.takepart.com/ and while browsing I stumbled upon an interesting article: How to Drink Water.  It seems like it should be simple enough, right? And yet, I think it is essential to read this piece and consider its ideas.
