Solution to Virtual Hosts Problem on Leopard

I've been wondering why virtual hosts don't work on my mac, until i finally decided to look into the problem. I realized the problem was not permissions on the directory, as those were untouched and correct. I ran into http://suburbia.org.uk/blog/2007/11/13/120206.html#comment322 , which seems to be a point in the right direction.

Cisco VPN and Snow Leopard

Snow Leopard Mac OS X's latest version 10.6, released on 28 Aug 2009, is now capable of connecting to VPNs using the following protocols: L2TP over IPSec, PPTP and Cisco VPN. This is now integrated into the Network preferences:

This means that people using a Mac with Snow Leopard can connect to the NYU VPN service without downloading and installing the Cisco VPN Client software, and instead using the built-in Network preference.
