Truth & UFOs

Dennis Kucinich on CBS's the Early Show:

You talk about UFOs; in Washington, truth is an unidentified flying object!

While being interviewed about why he brought the motion to impeach Dick Cheney to the House floor.  The reason he brought it up was because of his constituency, American citizens, he said.  This idea of democracy that many forget.

Tipping Point

From The New York Times on the Web, at URL http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/09/us/politics/09clinton.html?_r=1&oref=slogin:

“You people are really nuts,” she told a reporter during a phone interview. “There’s kids dying in the war, the price of oil right now — there’s better things in this world to be thinking about than who served Hillary Clinton at Maid-Rite and who got a tip and who didn’t get a tip.”

So Senator Clinton has a website, http://facts.hillaryhub.com/, on which her campaign staff will post rebuttals to criticisms of the candidate. To prevent stories about her that "spread like wildfire".  So this turns rebuttals into an up-to-the-minute affair, where accusations will flow at increasingly faster rates.  Rapid-fire spin, web-style.

One would think there are more important things to focus on, like the truth.  The thinking is that the truth doesn't matter if you're not a viable candidate, let alone the front runner.  So Sen. Clinton has to dedicate resources to 'set the record straigt' (or 'spin') in order to remain the most viable candidate.

Will this cover Sen. Clinton with teflon?

My response to The New York Times article on citizenship is blah blah blah blah blah.
