Important and Key

Recently ITS posted a service advisory that read thus:

Important Key Year End Dates - NNN & MMMM Availability:
On Wed., 8/26 at 6pm, NNN and MMMM will become unavailable. This downtime will last until Sat., 8/29 at 10am. This is to ensure that…

I wonder if “important key” is unnecessarily redundant.
