New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia opened in Singapore in 2007. It is NYU's first campus outside New York City and it offers the same curriculum that led the school to become one of the leading centers for academic, artistic, and professional training in the world.

New York University Master of Fine Arts degrees are offered in Animation & Digital Arts, Dramatic Writing (Screenwriting and Playwriting), and Film.

The artist, programmer, and researcher Rob O’Neill will conduct a masterclass for New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia Animation and Digital Arts students the second week of November, 2008.

Over 5 days of special workshops, Rob will cover illustrations and examples of topics like “12 animation principles”, “the study of motion”, “motion, time, space”, “planning motion and animation” as well as “character design and animation”.

NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia's first class of MFA film students continue to be honored at film festivals in Cambodia, Chicago, Miami, India, Japan, Singapore, and Paris, France.
