Comfort and Chaos
New York City is known for its chaos, but it is rarely regarded as a place where people experience serene moments. I think this picture is a perfect example of how both extremes can coexist so peacefully so close together. For some the park offers an escape from the concrete, a place as quiet as a library in which the individual can reflect. For others, the chaos of traffic and masses of people offer the distractions necessary for personal revelations. That is what is so beautiful about New York City, it offers so much for so many.
