Propublica.org, "an independent, non-profit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest" has published a graphic perspective History of U.S. gov't. Bailouts. The article contains the "cost in 2008 U.S. dollars" for each bailout.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics has published Women in the Labor Force: a Data Book (2008 Edition):

The report includes historical and current labor force earnings data for women and men from the Current Population Survey.

ReliefWeb provides detailed information on 'humanitarian emergencies and disasters'. The organization, launched in 1996 and administered by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), describes iteself as an 'independent vehicle of information, designed specifically to assist the international humanitarian community in effective delivery of emergency assistance...'
Individuals can subscribe to the site and receive updates and current information via RSS feed.
The New York Times reports that the White House website has been revamped.
Of particular interest for students of government are sections for Executive Orders and Proclamations.
The site will also reportedly offer ways for citizens to make comments on legislation proposed by the President as well as a new Office of Public Liaison.
