Last day of student teaching...again!

Today was my last day of my second semester student teaching. I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. It's been a really positive year, in many aspects, and I've definitely learned so much. I was really flattered to see the impact that I seemed to have had on my students. I gave them all Mad Libs since they're learning about the parts of speech and I thought it would be a fun, yet educational gift. They then presented me with a compilation of letters that each student had written to me as well as a book from my Cooperating Teachers.

The letters the students wrote me were so sweet and really mean a lot. They continued to tell me how much they were going to miss me. When we went outside to play on the playground, we took tons of pictures and the students shared stories with me and wanted to show me their cool tricks on the monkey bars. It was a really fun day--I just can't believe that I'm halfway through my student teaching experiences and virtually 3/4 of the way done with COLLEGE!!!
